Yoo hoo… Sen. Larry Craig: ‘I am not gay’

(above, the senator thinking about rest area hojos)
I guess Republican hypocrisy is pretty funny. Like this Senator from Idaho who was arrested for cruising for a blowjob in a men’s bathroom at the airport (the airport?!) . But he claims he’s not gay. He must subscribe to the “just because you cut down a tree once it doesn’t make you a lumberjack” theory.
I guess it’s funny to people since Republicans don’t really like The Gay, but whats funnier is that once you out him, he’s a member of your team. If you’re of the gay, is the man in the picture above someone you want to call a colleague?
Yeah, I’ll bet you wish you kept him in the closet when he’s at the rest area wearing a leather daddy vest asking you if you want to “party” behind the Andy Gump with him.

R.Kelly’s “Trapped in the closet” grows more and more pertinent with each passing hour. I wonder what is being worse that being outed if you are a Republican politician. Do you think that black market baby smuggler is lower on the totem pole?

Is there that much of a problem in Idaho of soliciting gay sex that they have to have undercover setups in men’s stalls? Haha, wtf. RENO 911 anyone?
Check this out, from Wikipedia (take it for what it’s worth)…
“According to the arrest report, Craig stated “that he has a wide stance when going to the bathroom and that his foot may have touched mine.” Craig also told the arresting officer that he reached down with his right hand to pick up a piece of paper that was on the floor. “It should be noted that there was not a piece of paper on the bathroom floor, nor did Craig pick up a piece of paper,” the arresting officer said in the report. The officer also noted that once he had shown the senator his police identification under the partition and indicated to him to exit the cubicle, Craig, after initially resisting the order, left the cubicle without flushing the toilet. According to the police report, at one point Craig handed the plainclothes sergeant who arrested him a business card that identified him as a U.S. Senator and said, “What do you think about that?”
Haha, typical politician…hyprocrite, lying, intolerant bastidge. Wide stance? Come on, you have to be a greasy politician to even think that line would convince anybody. Remember people, it’s not what you say…it’s how loud you say it.

I laughed more at the wide stance thing… the visual of him squatting like a quarterback to take a crap was pretty much the highlight of my morning. Which lever do I pull to be crushed by a safe?

“It should be noted that there was not a piece of paper on the bathroom floor, nor did Craig pick up a piece of paper,”
That officer should quit his job and start writing comedy.
Thanks again for this Rob, sometimes the asides are better than the article, like here.

I think the whole police force is just as in the closet. Really, the police ought to have better things to do, don’t you think?
I asked my out of the closet bisexual former roommate about this debacle (no not Sparkles) because he used to cruise some public places over on the GW Parkway and if he says Craig is definitely a homo then I believe him. Decades of glory hole experience is something you can count on.

yeah, you have to wonder when the police know all of the gay cruising hangouts.
“Oh yeah, that rest area off hwy 73 is a hotbed for gay stuff” said Officer Richardson.
