Flight Of The Living Dead (Updated)
UPDATE 9-19-2007
Turns out there will be a screening, and your friend will be attending this Tuesday. As one blogger put it on another blog: “I want to see Flight Of The Living Dead more than I want to see my family at Christmas”.
Check back for a review.

The company I work for owns a lot of websites. One of them is this horror movie site called shocktilyoudrop.com.
I was talking to one of the writers here and he was telling me what a travesty it is that a new movie called “Flight Of The Living Dead” is going straight to video. Basically it’s like Snakes On A Plane But With Zombies.
This writer is like one of these horror movie dorks whose teeth are Mountain Dew Yellow and fingers are permastained Cheeto orange and he’s always like yelling indignantly about stuff. Also he ends every sentence with the word “Man”.

(picture related)
Anyhow, he was like ranting and raving about not being able to see this movie “on the big screen with THX and all that shit man! On the Big Screen man! They got a raw deal, man!”.
Then he was like “Hey Andy, you have a blog right?” and i’m like “Yeah, I do”
“Can you tell your readers to check out this website and maybe tell their friends about it too? Maybe if enough people want to see the movie they’ll do a special screening here in LA”.
“Ok” I said.
And here it is:

rocio- i’ve updated this entry with a picture of the writer mentioned here, making a stupid face. I don’t know, I asked the editor of shocktilyoudrop.com if he could set me up with an advanced screening of some kind, and he said he’ll see what he can do.

From watching the trailer, I have to say that if any film deserves the full cinematic, stadium seating, THX-cerfified treatment, it’s this one!

I love movies like this!

That seems like it’d be a very short, very pointless movie. Zombies attack the cockpit, plane goes down, everyone dies. The end. Then someone makes it into a video game, which is made into a graphic novel, which is made into another movie. Mark my words…

“Zombies attack the cockpit, plane goes down, everyone dies.”
Cody, I think you’re missing the point.
Everyone dies a horrible, horrible death.
Except one good guy and one zombie.
Or…
Plane crashes onto a deserted island, everyone becomes a zombie. Sets us up nice for the followup Lost (and also dead)

Cody is a point misser. I think this will be the best movie of our generation.
I’ll let everyone know tommorow night.

*sigh* I am a point-misser. It makes watching monster movies very depressing (and/or confusing).
