Print it out. Study it. It was written years ago but is still relevant.

It will make you want to get Linux.

It made me want to get Linux.

It made me respect the nerds who write software and OSes.

It will explain a lot to you.

It’s the most gorgeous thing written about tech and computers and all that silliness.

I read it three years ago and still read it every six months or so….

Ok, that’s enough.

  1. Check a book entitled “A Logic Named Joe”; it was written in 1946 by Murry Leinster. If you appreciate the prescience and relevance of Cryptonomicon then you will understand the significance of this little known book.
