Painfully Unfunny Barack Obama Sketch On SNL and My Not Novel Claim That Saturday Night Live Sucks Now

I bet you hate this site, Hulu, AOL, Barack Obama and Saturday Night Live for making you watch that don’t you?
Obamamania has pretty much jumped the shark when Saturday Night Live won’t even actually make fun of the President.
SNL Writer: Got a great idea. We hire a black guy that looks like Obama and we have him talk about how he is “cool”.
Lorne Michaels: Genius. Print it.
This is comedy? Can someone tell me why this is funny?
Every sketch I saw last night was very Busch League.
John Malkovich is a terrible guest, not funny, and this new batch of SNL writers and actors are too obsequious.
Making all kinds of darling self-referential jokes about John Malkovitch. Ha.Ha. Fuck you “oh you were in Being John Malkovitch”. My side hurts from laughing so much.
T.I. performing”whatever you like” was the only bright spot of the night.
VERY STALE AND LATE-TO-THE-DANCE OBSERVATION THAT SNL IS NO LONGER FUNNY
I don’t laugh at any of the sketches anymore. Sometimes I feel very uncomfortable watching the sketches because they’re comedy sketches and I have a “edge of my seat” disposition waiting for laughs and they never happen.
The problem though, with saying that SNL isn’t funny is not just that it’s kind of a pile-on and “duh” thing to say, it’s that you’re sort of a loser for being home at midnight on a saturday night, which is probably why you’re bitter that this program that usually helped a loser like you have a few lols on saturday night no longer delivers.
Oh well.

That “black guy that looks like Obama” is a white dude, Fred Armisen, who when not in black face resembles Rick Moranis.
Other than that, yeah, your radical ideas about SNL being lame have already occurred to others.
SNL has not been funny in many years. I live overseas and I watch it on Saturday afternoons on AFN and it is painful to watch. I have to shut it off every few minutes because I cannot take how sad it has become. SNL used to be cutting edge now they can’t even make fun on Obama because that would be wrong because he is a black man so they are going after Newt and Rush I mean come on people is this really what people want? And besides having Fred whats his name play him is more racist then actually attacking him. I can write better stuff while sitting on the toilet.
