Charges Filed Against Ft Hood Suspect?!
Context is always important.
I have none on this story but:
I’m sitting here in a garish apartment in Shenzhen, China listening to Van Morrison sing “Madame George” and I open Yahoo! News and see this headline:
WHAT? NO FUCKING WAY.
Check this one out:
Check out the picture of that lawyer. That’s a dude that wakes up with an empty jug of Ernest & Julio Gallo on his nightstand every morning if I ever saw one.
You can imagine them over at the JAG office going:
Shit, we have to send someone to represent that bastard Hasan— hey what ever happened to that retarded guy we trained to be a lawyer? Yeah, Galligan, where’s he at? Taking a nap under his desk in a Star Wars sleeping bag eh? Grab one of his Capri Suns and tell him to wake up and to prepare for his first case.
On top the blurb reads:
Obama says Gunman bad, heroes good.
God bless that Obama really taking the tough stances on issues. Who knows how the voters in Iowa will respond to that.
What are the rules and who are the editors that say news and blurbs needs to be written like such bullshit?
From what I hear there’s a strong bias towards not mentioning that he’s Muslim or that his actions may have been motivated by that fact. And you know that they mention that Obama says “it’s bad that he did that” to quell any anti-Muslim ideas you might be having.
Ok, well at least Obama isn’t behind this guy.
