The truth of the matter is, Heath was most likely "dispatched" by those who ultimately control box office revenue. You see Heath was determined to choose roles which stirred controversy and heightened awareness about issues (Batman, Brokeback Mountain) which people really want to sweep under the carpet. In Hollywood, all it takes is for one call and a film gets made. You get enough actors who want to go rogue in order to leave an impact on the audience (I'm talking beyond explosions and T and A) and people will think twice about seeing a picture if they think it's going to have a serious <a href="http://www.cheapotoner.com" target='_blank' >tone</a>- that's why Avatar had so much embedded sub-text and mucho special effects; whereas Heath's more recent controversial choices just let it all hang out (no sub-text). Crazy? Here's a question for you. When was the last time they made a movie suggesting UFOs have been man-made all along?
