It's really important that when the President of the United States uses the word "we" that everyone understands that he is talking about "we", as in "We Americans", not "we" as opposed to "them". Oprah does it all the time, but, she doesn’t have to answer to anybody. It’s really important that when the President of the United States uses the word “we” that everyone understands that he is talking about “we”, as in “We Americans”, not “we” as opposed to “them”.

What if the same things were required of white people? Catholics? Jews? Like we all had these fake roles we had to play. Is the stereotypical "black" persona a positive one? If not, then why is the media and implicitly, whites, blamed for keeping these stereotypes alive when it comes from within the community? I'll say it again, i'm tired of living in a non-truth based society. Like Obama playing to the crowd, which is understandable I guess, they're 'his people.' Had he spoken like this to white crowds, would he have been voted president? No way.
